I was tasked with creating a visual identity for MGB, a professional mixed martial artist. My objective was to develop a stand out brand to effectively promote the athlete's personality, skills, and dedication to the sport. I began by conducting research on the athlete's values, strengths, and target audience to inform my design approach. I created custom designs specifically for use for fight wear, print materials, and online media . The design is centred around a bold, modern style that identifies confidence, strength, and agility – qualities that are essential for success in the high-stakes world of MMA. Through careful consideration of typography, colour palette, and imagery, I aimed to create a visual language that accurately represents the athlete's persona and recognised by their target audience. The result is a strong brand presence that will help MGB build a loyal fan base and increase visibility among sponsors and the broader MMA community, ultimately driving their aspirations to rise through the rankings and establish themselves as a prominent figure in the sport.
